"Sehnsucht nach La Bitta"

Seit 15 Jahren verbringen mein Mann und ich im La Bitta unseren Sommerurlaub. Und es ist jedes Mal wie Nachhausekommen. Die wundervolle Atmosphäre des Hotels, der Top-Service und das wunderbare Essen sind ein Garant für einen tollen Urlaub. Dem ganzen Team vielen Dank. Bis zum nächsten Jahr.

Abbiamo appena trascorso una meravigliosa settimana di vacanza e desideriamo farVi i complimenti per la struttura eccellente , per il servizio impeccabile
e cortese che ci ha accompagnato (noi ed i nostri due bambini) in ogni momento della giornata.
La posizione è incantevole e rilassante, la camera è stata superiore alle aspettative e sempre pulitissima.
Cibo eccellente e.... terrazza con vista mare da cartolina: abbiamo ancora negli occhi il colore smeraldo del mare.

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand. Die Aussicht von der Frühstücksterrasse mit Blick zum Meer ist gigantisch. Das Frühstücksbuffett lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Zimmer sind zwar klein aber ausreichend. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Poolblick und das war sehr schön. Handtücher werden täglich gewechselt, die erste Garnitur Badetücher ist kostenlos. Rund um das Hotel gibt es ettliche Restaurants/Pizzerien die man besuchen kann, zum Hafen von Arbatax sind es etwa 10 Minuten Fußmarsch...

Beautiful location with seaview. Very nice breakfast room with seaview. Breakfast was good, lots of things to choose from.
The interior is nicely decorated. Even though it is a quite big hotel with 60 rooms, it looks a lot smaller and cosier.
They also have a just new opened cafe/bar with a huge aquarium, very cool.
We had dinner once in the a la carte restaurant, which was OK, but a bit expensive and quite 'official'. Nearby restaurants are just as good and more relaxed.
The steam bath was for free and nice.
A lot of Germans stayed in the hotel while we were there in May, especially motor bikers.

Liebes La Bitta-Team,

der Aufenthalt bei Ihnen hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Alle sind sehr zuvorkommend und nett. Schon die Hotelbuchung verlief äußerst unproblematisch. Unser Zimmer mit Meerblick und Balkon mit Jacuzzi, den wir leider wegen des Wetters im April noch nicht nutzen konnten, war nett eingerichtet, geräumig und sehr sauber. Das Essen, vorallem auch die Vorspeisen, war prima, und wir würden gerne wiederkommen, wenn wir nicht normalerweise mit Wohnwagen unterwegs wären.

Machen Sie weiter so!

Après de très longues recherches nous nous sommes décidés pour cet hôtel. Nous sommes partis avec notre fille de 5 mois et demi.
L'hôtel est situé au bord d'une crique magnifique. La mer est transparente comme un lagon. Il est fréquenté avant tout par des personnes âgées, de couples avec très jeunes enfants. Beaucoup d'autrichiens à l'hôtel (les menus sont en italien et en allemand), une clientèle discrète et agréable.
Les chambres sont très belles avec des détails soignés, le service de chambre est impeccable (nous étions dans les chambres les moins chères avec douche). La piscine est également très agréable. Nous n'avons jamais eu de problème pour trouver un transat. La plage est magnifique propre et peu bruyante, avec sable fin.
La demi pension est riche variée et les plats sont très bons. Très belle carte des vins. Noter toutefois que le restaurant de la demi-pension ne donne pas directement sur la mer (seule les chambres avec jaccuzzi ont la demi pension dans le restaurant avec vue sur mer), mais l'espace est beau et chaleureux. A nouveau service impeccable.
Notre bébé a eu un léger problème et la direction de l'hôtel nous a immédiatement organisé un transport (gratuit) pour l'hôpital.
Une voiture est inutile, l'hôtel propose des locations à la journée si nécessaire (il y a aussi des vélos et des scooter). Le transfert organisé par l'hôtel depuis Olbia nous a pris 2h (ils avaient prévu un siège auto pour le bébé).
Enfin nous avons profité de massages au spa également très agréables.
Nous espérons vraiment y retourner!!!

If you are looking 1. to be right on the gorgeous waters of Sardinia, 2. authenticiy, 3. excellent food, 4. relaxation, and, 5. a not too over the type resort ( ex: unless I suppose you can afford Hotel Patrizza in the Costa Smeralda ), then I highly recommend Hotel La Bitta.
Having researched many hotels and resorts in Sardinia, I had brought myself to internet
obsession. Sardinia was a given, but deciding on the hotel was difficult. The fact that Hotel La Bitta had received a multitude of 5's on this site really helped.
Those reviews turned out to be spot on. My stay was a 10 day total immersion in
which i did next to nothing except bask in the beautiful water , read, and indulge in very good food. If you are someone who needs to be active, then I would not recommend this to you. Also, be advised that the hotel is the selling point of the entire vicinity, as close as i can figure. The local town is not a charming village where you would want to go to have dinner, shop, or hang out. Also, the effort to get there is daunting. I flew from NY to Rome to Olbia, then drove approximately 3 hrs. south. It's Off the beaten path from Americans, the English, and Australians for sure. I believe I was the only person from an English speaking country .. Mostly were iItalinas and Austrians ( as there is a tiny plane that comes in once a week from Innsbruck, who knew !). Gracing this gem of a place is the kindly staff who are sincerely concerned about your comfort and well being.
One thing I would mention,however, is the standard room, garden view situation. My room was designated to be as such, but I found the room to be facing the hotel parking lot. Albeit, there was some vegetation out the window that helped to block it, but the room was also dark and felt closed in.. I communicated my disheartened reaction, as it also felt rather depressing, and , therefore asked for another option. The request was taken care of, and I switched to an airer room in a day or so. Grazie to the kind staff that made me feel welcome, particularly to Suzanna and Simona. I am grateful to you both, especially because I was a solo traveler.

Wir haben eine herrliche Urlaubswoche in Ihrem Haus und auf Sardienien verbringen dürfen und erinnern uns heute noch sehr gern an diese schöne Zeit. Vor allem vom Hotel La Bitta waren wir sehr angetan. Der perfekte Service, das nette und immer hilfsbereite Personal, das Ambiente und der Komfort des Hauses, die besonders schöne Lage und natürlich die tolle Küche sind Erfahrungen, wie wir sie in dieser Konzentration und Perfektion noch nicht erlebt haben. Vielen herzlichen Dank dafür!!!

So ist es natürlich nicht verwunderlich, dass wir sehr gern wiederkommen möchten.

Ottimo albergo direttamente sulla spiaggia. Posizione incantevole, con vista mare sia dal ristorante che dalle camere. Tutto il personale è particolarmente gentile e si impegna al massimo per farti sentire a tuo agio e farti passare una vacanza incantevole. All'arrivo mi è stata assegnata una stanza superiore a quella prenotata. Le camere DeLuxe sono favolose: terrazzino con vista mare e vasca Jacuzzi, camera spaziosa e comodissima. Il ristorante è sicuramente di livello Michelin: molto curata la presentazione dei piatti e la qualità dei cibi. Il menù è vario per un servizio di mezza pensione. Tutte le esigenze possono essere soddisfatte: dalle più sofisticate alle più semplici. Nei dintorni ci sono altre spiagge bellissime, sicuramente da visitare.

Sono stato una settimana ad agosto con mia moglie e mia figlia che aveva un anno. Ci siamo trovati veramente benissimo. La struttura è abbastanza piccola e tutto è molto comodo (stanza, piscina, mare); il personale si è dimostrato molto simpatico e disponibile, anche nei confronti della piccola, il cibo ottimo e molto vario. La spiaggia, bella, è in una baia riparata, quasi tutta sabbia. Posto ideale per rilassarsi, perché l'unico lato negativo è che usciti dall'albergo... praticamente il nulla. Non consideratelo se cercate vita mondana.

Auch unser elfter Besuch im schönen La Bitta hat uns wieder sehr gefallen! Wir schätzen die sehr freundliche und persönliche Bedienung Ihres Teams und freuen uns wirklich immer wieder, wenn wir viele gleiche Gesichter treffen können. Das zeigt uns, dass auch die Führung stimmen muss, da Sie sonst nicht so viele langjährige Mitarbeiter beschäftigen könnten. Wir sind auch immer wieder gespannt, was für An- und Umbauten Sie in einem Jahr machen. Viele Erneuerungen zum Wohle des Gastes durften wir in den vergangenen elf Jahren miterleben. Meine Frau war dieses Jahr ganz besonders begeistert von dem neu installierten Schminkspiegel. Auch haben wir nach elf Jahren festgestellt, dass wir auch zwei Zimmerkarten haben können. Es wäre gut, wenn man Paaren beide gleich von Anfang an abgeben würde. Wenn eines später vom Strand ins Zimmer kommt und das andere unter der Dusche steht, musste man immer warten, bis geöffnet wurde. Wir haben keine Bewertungskarte ausgefüllt, weshalb ich Ihnen dieses Mail schreibe. Wir wünschen Ihnen noch einen erfolgreichen Abschluss der Saison und alles Gute bis zu unserem nächsten Besuch.

We loved this hotel, location, food, people. Its the best kept secret and we like it this way. The town of Arbatax is nothing special, but the hotel is amazing, well kept and a proper 4 stars by all standards if not 5! The room we had was overlooking the amazing view of the bay, the beach - private part of the hotel had proper beach chairs, swimming aids and showers, was literally 3 steps from the pool and restaurant very convenient. The food was gorgeous and the staff very friendly and hardworking. Most people at the hotel were Europeans, the menu should have an English translation as well. In the price of the room we had breakfast and dinner included and dinners were always amazing! Evening entertainment was as expected in such place, OK with certain folks, we were not interested in the genre, but the Sardinian typical night theme was nice.

Il La Bitta è un fantastico albergo a quattro stelle. L'ubicazione è eccezionale, il personale molto disponibile e il ristorante di livello Michelin. Insomma è perfetto per una vacanza romantica e rilassante. Alcune camere, il ristorante e il bar sono perfetti per ammirare il tramonto perché guardano sulla piccola baia. Inoltre offrono delle crociere di un giorno al costo di €50 a persona. Il pranzo a bordo e il trasporto al porto, che si trova lì vicino, è compreso. Vale la pena di fare quest'escursione dato che così potrete andare a nuotare nelle spiagge più esclusive e meno raggiungibili di questa parte di costa. Il La Bitta è un vero quattro stelle.

Bell' albergo sul mare, camere carine , spaziose e pulite, la nostra stanza aveva addirittura due bagni e una magnifica vista mare! le stanze deluxe hanno la jacuzzi sul balcone..
personale simpatico e gentile, il più bell'hotel della zona.
trattamenti estetici, massaggi, bagno turco...
Proprio quello che cercavamo, riposo, sole, mare e relax!

"Good value, great view"

The room at the Arbatax where we stayed for only one night in August as we travelled around Sardinia was large and clean. As we found in our travels, a very firm bed is a standard in hotel room in Italy. From inexpensive hotels to luxury resorts, the mattresses are a little too hard for our American taste.
The Arbatax had 3 things going for it that distinguishes it from other hotels where we stayed on Sardinia. The room, while sparse, was fairly large. The view from our room was the nicest we enjoyed on the trip. And that view, coupled with a good breakfast at a lovely outdoors cafe made that one meal we had there especially pleasant.
Were we looking for a hotel in Arbatax again, we would not not hesitate to stay at the La Bitta.

"Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo"

Mentre facevamo un giro per la Sardegna ad agosto abbiamo passato una notte all'Arbatax; la camera era grande e pulita. Come abbiamo scoperto durante il viaggio, un letto duro è una cosa normale in una camera d'albergo italiana. Dagli alberghi poco costosi ai villaggi turistici di lusso i materassi sono un po' troppo rigidi per il gusto americano.
L'Arbatax ha tre cose a suo favore che lo distinguevano dagli altri alberghi dove siamo stati in Sardegna: la camera, anche se spartana, era piuttosto grande; la vista dalla camera era la migliore di tutto il viaggio; il panorama, insieme all'ottima colazione consumata in un incantevole bar all'aperto, ha reso speciale l'unica volta in cui abbiamo avuto l'occasione di mangiare in quest'hotel.
Se dovessimo cercare di nuovo un albergo ad Arbatax, non esiteremmo a tornare al La Bitta.

"The best experience ever"

We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was the best experience ever. The hotel, the staff, the surroundings, the food, everything was so excellent. You can feel when people enjoy what they do, and the friendly atmosphere was wonderful. We felt at home, enjoyed every minute and will be back, for sure!!! Thanks you all! "Fab hotel"

We stayed at this hotel in June for 2 weeks with our daughter aged 2 and it was fantastic. The room was lovely clean and very comfotable, as was all of the hotel spotless. The staff were wonderful and so friendly to our daughter. The food is excellent 4 course dinner which had lots of choices and waiter service. The hotel is directly on the beach and has a wonderful infinaty pool.

This place was fantastic, right at the beach. We stayed for one week in November 2006. The hotel was clean and the staff throughout was courteous and friendly. The room was spacious and a delight with ozean view. The beds were very comfortable with ample extra pillows and blankets to ensure your comfort. The breakfast was exactly what we expected and needed for a great start to a busy day. Bottomless coffee/tea/juice/milk. Lots of cereal, eggs, salami, yougurt, fruit, bagels, etc. We loved the quiet! But, in November there is no Bar -or Restaurant service in the Hotel. There are several places in town to go, try Ristorante Del Porto in Via Bellavista.

Das Hotel la Bitta liegt direkt an einer kleinen Sandbucht am Meer. Es ist eingebettet in eine schöne Gartenlandschaft mit tollem Pool. Wir hatten eine Luxus-Zimmer mit Whirlpool auf dem Balkon und Meerblick. Sehr zu empfehlen! Jedes der Zimmer gemütlichen Zimmer ist anders eingerichtet. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das sehr freundliche und professionelle Personal. Auch das Essen war toll. Es gab jeden Abend 4-Gang Menü, und man konnte immer zwischen 3 Gerichten wählen. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen bestimmt wieder.

"Un Hotel fantastico sul mare"

E' un hotel bello, elegante, dotato di tutti i comfort e situato proprio sulla spiaggia. L'ideale per una vacanza rilassante, una luna di miele o per godersi il mare in un poso di classe.
Le stanze sono di diverso tipo, ma tutte molto belle e ben equipaggiate. Non ho avuto modo di vedere le suites che dovrebbero avere anche la jacuzzi, ma quelle standard sono proprio belle. L'arredamento è elegante ma richiama molto lo stile della Costa Smeralda, la tradizione sarda, i colori del mare.
E' presente l'aria condizionata, frigobar, telefono, tv, e a seconda della stanza altri servizi.
Ottima la pulizia. I bagni puliti e ordinati, dotati di phon e con un set di cortesia fornitissimo (io li adoro e me li porto sempre via). La maggior parte delle camere da sul mare. E' bellissimo svegliarsi e vedere la spiaggia da una bella vetrata! Alcune danno sull'altrettanto bello giardino. La struttura è molto bella, in molte zone rivestita in pietra, con numerose terrazze, verande e un bellissimo giardino.
Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile, la reception molto organizzata e preparata a gestire anche gruppi numerosi. L'hotel dispone di un bellissimo centro benessere che purtroppo non ho avuto tempo di provare e una parte di spiaggia organizzata per i clienti. Le zone relax sono ben arredate e hanno un'atmosfera molto accogliente. La sera si ha spesso intrattenimento musicale o di altro tipo nella sala ristorante, nella terrazza o in altri spazi. Io ho assistito ad uno spettacolo musicale molto carino e poi è finita che ci siamo lasciati tutti trascinare dalle danze. Ho alloggiato nell'hotel con trattamento di mezza pensione perciò ho avuto modo di provare la colazione e la cena. La colazione era ottima, con un ricco menù a buffet dalla vasta scelta tra dolce e salato. Buone anche le bevande servite direttamente dai camerieri.
Impossibile resistere. Buona anche la cena. I piatti sono di qualità e la scelta è ampia. Mi ricordo un ottimo dessert al cucchiaio.
Il servizio impeccabile come sempre. L'atmosfera nel ristorante è molto tranquilla ed accogliente. L'hotel è situato sul mare (a dire il vero proprio sulla spiaggia) in una caletta a pochi km da Arbatax. La posizione è splendida così come il paesaggio circostante. E' così vicino al mare (inutile fare polemica su una struttura costruita ai tempi in cui tutto era lecito) che basta scendere una scala per trovarsi proprio sulla spiaggia, una parte della quale è data in concessione allo stesso hotel.
Il mare è pulito, seppur molto aperto e quindi spesso agitato, la spiaggia bella e dalla sabbia bianca e sottile. L'albergo dista 4 o 5 Km dal primo centro vicino, quindi non ci sono grandi possibilità di shopping o vita notturna ( a meno che non ci si accontenti dell'animazione dell'hotel), per le quali bisogna spostarsi in macchina ad Arbatax. I mezzi pubblici sono pochi e poco frequenti, si consiglia di andarci in macchina.
