Informative statement
as per Article 13 of the Legislative Decree 196/2003 (Personal Data
Protection Code)
The aim of this statement is to clarify what can be expected of the
legislation on the protection of privacy, in particular in respect
of the rights of those who access our website www.arbataxhotels.com,
and the procedures for protecting their privacy:
1) During the course of any visit to our web pages some information
and personal data can be collected through the voluntarily
completion of some forms within the site, through the action of
cached files, temporary or permanent, on your hard-disk (i.e.:
Cookies) or through the use of other components, such as software
downloaded or activated whilst surfing (i.e.: ActiveX components).
We may use the data collected to:
1.1 Provide you with information or publicity material regarding our
business, including with the use of electronic communication tools
(i.e.: fax, email, sms and so on).
1.2 Draw up offers and quotes.
1.3 Collect statistical data on the use of the website.
1.4 Speed up, improve and personalize the standard of service we
offer to users.
The data collected can be stored both electronically and on paper
and will be treated by us under the terms set out in the personal
privacy law.
2)The supply of personal data is optional; but If you choose not to
provide some information or to disable cookies or other components,
it may not be possible for us to send you the information required
or to guarantee the complete functionality of the website.
3)Only the assigned company staff will handle the data collected.
However, for technical reasons connected to the functionality of the
Internet it is possible for the data to pass through servers spread
around foreign countries, including non-EU countries. Our company
has no control over this data throughput. By submitting your
information you consent to the use of that information and accept
that the transmission of data is at your own risk and you relieve
our company of any responsibility for damages that can derive from
non-authorized abuses during this phase.

Art. 7 - Right to access personal data and other rights
1.The person concerned has the right to obtain confirmation of the
existence of personal data that regards him/her, even if not yet
registered, and to have it communicated in an intelligible form.
2. The person concerned has the right to obtain information about:
a) the origin of the personal data;
b) the purposes and terms of the handling of the personal data;
c) the logic applied in the case of handling of personal data using
electronic instruments;
d) the identity of the owner, the person responsible and the
representative appointed under Art. 5, paragraph 2;
e) the people or categories of people to whom the data may be
distributed or who may become aware of it in their role of
representatives, managers or staff appointed by the State.
3. The person concerned has the right to obtain:
a) the updating, the correction or, when it is to ones’ personal
interest, the addition to the data;
b) the cancellation, the transformation into anonymous form or the
blocking of the data handled in violation of the law, including data
which does not need to be kept for the purposes for which it was
collected or subsequently handled;
c) the proof that the processes, even with regards to their content,
as per points a) and b) have been communicated to the people to whom
the data was given, except in the case when this task is found to be
impossible or involves the use of disproportionately high means
compared to the right being protected;
4. The person concerned has the right to object entirely or in part:
a) for legitimate reasons, to the handling of their personal data,
even though it may be pertinent to the aim of the data collection;
b) to the handling of their personal data for the purposes of
sending publicity or direct sales material or for the carrying out
of market research or commercial advertising.
